I wish to seek clarification regarding your perspective above — why do you feel a permissioned chain such as Quorum or Hyperledger Fabric can seriously compete with Ethereum in the security token space? Do you feel that there is a real-world possibility of a regulated permissioned Blockchain being built by some of the top brands together (much like Libra)?

The way I see it, developers prefer to go with the Ethereum public chain purely because they do not want to think about validators in their Blockchain network. It is presently as simple writing twenty lines of code and deploy. I agree Tezos and EOS may prove to be competitors in the long run, but why permissioned chains?
